“JUAN II DE CASTILLA, EL REY ASEDIADO EN MONTALBAN”, narra la verdadera historia de los primeros años del reinado del joven monarca Juan II de Castilla, padre de Isabel la Católica, en una turbulenta época en la que la ambición al trono por parte de la alta nobleza era constante. Este fue el caso del primo y cuñado del rey, el infante don Enrique de Aragón, cuyo deseo de poseer la corona castellana, le llevó a secuestrar a toda la corte real en Tordesillas. Tras largos meses prisionero, asediado por todo un ejército y sufriendo numerosas calamidades, la libertad del joven rey se hizo efectiva en el castillo de Montalbán.
